Dang, I hate this part. I don’t know about you, but I usually have a hard time describing myself, so I’ll try to keep it brief and merely say that I’m a book-loving, cat-loving, full moon- and fried okra-loving, tea-drinking Southerner with a lifelong gravitational pull towards the strange and unusual; a blogger, occasional poet, and NaNoWriMo survivor who wrote my first short story at the kitchen table at age ten but couldn’t tell you a thing about it now, other than that I wish I’d saved it for whenever I need a chuckle. (Hey, we all have to start somewhere.)
When not writing or editing or working a 9-5 gig, I’ll likely be found reading in my favorite recliner, browsing at antique shops, dining out or otherwise adventuring with friends, cross-stitching, or holding forth on Facebook about various and sundry, including the latest insane plot twist on The Walking Dead.
In short, as an old song from ABBA put it: “I’m nothing special; in fact, I’m a bit of a bore.”
But I’m glad you stopped by. And I hope you’ll be back.
